Lead Programmer / Architect for the Mainframe Conversion on this three-year project to convert Child Welfare data from the fifty-eight counties in California to a single DB2 Mainframe database. This database serves a Windows-9x multi-tier software application used by over 10,000 child welfare workers. Instrumental in developing the conversion architecture, standards and procedures. Assisted with the development of Delphi based, PC Data Mapping tools which generated Mainframe COBOL/DB2 conversion programs. Designed and created a generalized exception reporting process which was used for all conversion reporting.
