Database team lead and interim Test team lead for this three-tier e-Business development project using Websphere and Oracle.  Responsibilities included selecting modeling software (ErWin), Project planning, estimating and tracking, coordinating data model changes with customer DBA’s, etc.  Specific tasks included:

• Setup a backup Oracle server for the CIS database.

• Maintained Oracle user, table, column and security updates.

• Created daily test data creation/update scripts.

• Created procedures to synchronize Oracle databases in three physical locations.

• Reviewed and updated Use Cases using RequisitePro.

• Created DataAttributes template to be used in Design Use Cases.

• Installed and maintained ClearQuest Oracle instance.

• Created Data Project Plan in MsProject with tasks, task dependencies, estimates, resource assignments.  Used resource-leveling to refine the plan.

Upgraded an IBM Delphi 4 application (xTools) to Delphi 6.  Generalized this specific custom application that interactively displays data model information including tables, column definitions, constraints and valid values.  Created a process to extract metadata from ErWin, Excel and Lookup database tables to populate the xTools database.
